Just 20 days more for a Cloud Workshop in Boston, but I am already looking forward to the days after this workshop!
Cloud Computing has been maturing rapidly and the next obvious step is for customers to leverage this technology. As a result, Dave Nielsen and myself have put together a series of workshops to help customers bring in their application for evaluation for cloud applicability. If you are interested in using cloud technology at your organization or for your customers, the workshop in Boston on June 2 will help you understand various characteristics of an application that has to be considered.
Cloud Expo always gives an opportunity for a subset of attendees to understand relevant topics on cloud computing. The 4-day Cloud Computing Bootcamp at Cloud Expo New York, from June 6 – 9, is broken up into 4 sections:
- Two days of in-depth presentations
- CloudCamp @ Cloud Expo New York to help attendees discuss their most pressing issues with peers
- Vendors’ strategy and portfolios
- Demonstration of vendor solutions
I am excited to have Abiquo, CA, Cloud.com, Dell, Eucalyptus, Google, IBM, Oracle and Red Hat participate in the Bootcamp at Cloud Expo. Watch out for updates!
In an interesting coincidence, Amazon is having its “Navigate the Cloud” summit on June 10 in NYC. For those interested in making full use of the week, I suggest you quickly register for this all day conference right after Cloud Expo!
An exciting start of June this year indeed!
